As Managing Contractor for BER projects into 320 primary schools across more then half of NSW, Laing O’Rourke is proud to offer school students and local communities these exciting and educational options to get involved with the program.

A ‘first’ for the construction industry in Australia, the Laing O’Rourke School Community Engagement Program is designed to stimulate student, teacher and parent participation around BER themes and Laing O’Rourke’s commitment to its own EPIC (Environment, People, Industry and Community) sustainability program.

The Laing O’Rourke BER website plays a central role in hosting the program and provides online registration, booking and feedback forms for the six key activities which revolve around environmental, sustainability, technology, building and construction, community, teamwork and creativity themes, as well as skills development.

The six activities are:
